Nathaniel Holiday
Nathaniel Holiday’s journey from working at the bank to helping individuals start their very own lending company.
SMG Financial Full Lending Service Platform Business owner Nathaniel Holiday has more than 20 years of Business Development and Financial Banking Industry experience. Nathaniel owns and operates two highly successful businesses that primarily focus on helping entrepreneurs and small business owners grow and scale their business to become profitable. Nathaniel has demonstrated his ability to grow profits while managing departments in the Financial Industries Commercial Lending department to $450 million yearly, and grow 750 units in the Mortgage department with growth revenue in excess of $66 million quarterly.
Nathaniel has been recognized by numerous non-profit organizations such as the Business to Business Organization of New Jersey, the National Rotary Club in Matawan-Aberdeen for his Dedication and Services, which he was also the President of the Rotary Club in 2010-2011. Nathaniel has also sat on several Board of Directors for Non Profit Organizations to include Michael’s Feat of Monmouth County New Jersey.
Nathaniel truly understands both perspectives of being a new entrepreneur and the challenges that each business owner is faced with daily to keep their businesses up and running to be profitable.
1997
After working for several years as a Banking Coordinator for the Federal Reserve in Pittsburgh Pa., Nathaniel decided it was time for a change and moved to New Jersey to start working as a Senior Retail Banking Manager for a top Financial Institution. While working for this Financial Institution, Nathaniel discovered his passion for helping small businesses grow and become profitable. After achieving many top sales awards in the areas of : Commercial Loan Growth, Mortgage loans originated and Top Sales in Commercial Business Assets for Northern & Southern New Jersey. Nathaniel was determined to take his experience and expertise to a higher level.
2004
Nathaniel was offered another Senior Retail Banking Manager position with one of the 4th largest Banking Institutions in the world. After working with this institution for several years, Nathaniel knew that the only way he could truly help small businesses and entrepreneurs grow and scale their business was to start something on his own, so he decided to resign.
2016
In November 2016, Nathaniel Holiday created SMG and started preforming Digital Marketing for small businesses & entrepreneurs all over the United States. In the first year of operation, SMG was able to help over 15,000 new & existing small businesses all over the country. It was obvious that Nathaniel was on to something and knew he needed to do more to help grow & scale new businesses.
2017
Based on Nathaniel’s own vast experience as a Retail Banking Manager where he had trained and motivated well over 3500 employees which many went on to be top performers, he wanted to implement multiple lending products and services to his existing Digital Marketing business. Nathaniel also recognized that other Digital Marketing companies were not offering any other products & services that business owner could use to enhance their business line or offer other products. Nathaniel decided to add a Full Lending Service Platform and rebrand the business name to SMG Financial. Nathaniel wants SMG Financial to be a one stop shop for business owners everywhere.
2018
At SMG Financial, individuals will have the opportunity to purchase our Full Lending Service Platform with the ability to loan money Internationally & National to private lenders for Commercial Loans, Residential Mortgages and Consumer Loans, in addition they can offer Credit Repair, Debt Settlement, Student Loan Consolidation, Student Loan Refinancing and Digital Marketing. Our program truly offers every business owner the tools & lifetime support to own and successfully operate like a branch of a bank without deposits.
2020
SMG Financial is evolving to new heights in 2020. We are now offering a program for individuals looking to obtain their mortgage license by purchasing our mortgage license certification course. This program has been designed strictly for that individual looking to work independently as a broker or agency.
